The USA situated in hemisphere east. The USA is washed by the Pacific Ocean in the west, by the Atlantic Ocean in the east and by the Gulf of Mexico in the south.

The USA is a large country with many different natural wonders. Country has every kinds of weather and lands – snowy and shiny, rocky coasts, dry empty deserts, powerful rivers, wide plains and grasslands, mountains, great forests, sunny beaches.

Many rivers cross the USA. The greatest and mighty river is the Mississippi. It called “The Father of Waters”. It begins in the north of the country and end in the Gulf of Mexico. It is about 6400km long. The Colorado and the Missouri are big rivers too. The Andes and Cordeliers are the biggest mountains in the USA.

More than 250 millions people live in the USA. The main tourists’ attraction is the Grand Canyon. The Colorado River formed with the Grand Canyon. Today the canyon is one mile deep and 277 miles long. The Canyon looks different at different times of day, seasons and weather. At sunrise and sunset red, gold, brown and orange colors of the rocks. In winter the Grand Canyon is very hot – much hotter than at the top.

The USA is the young country. Its written history is only a few hundred years old. There are fifty states in the US. People begin called this country “New World”. Many people come to USA live, for example” Europeans, Asians, Africans and they come with them customs and traditions, for example Germans brought Christmas trees.
